I made drone noise from scrunching a bag and put some live beats to it :)
PUNCTURE KIT – Skateboarding To Concrete Creek
Experimental / Percussive / Jungle / Sound Art
Skateboarding To Concrete Creek is a restless, immersive new experimental drumming album from Puncture Kit, carving a jagged line through twisted odd-time jungle breaks, haunting brush strokes, and low-end rumble. Constructed from Dave's live drums and raw noise, the record feels less like a straight path and more like a wander—through side streets, half-lit rooms, and an art gallery where the walls seem to breathe.
Rumbling drums collide with sporadic, chopped sounds; rhythms lurch, fracture, and reassemble; textures smear and scrape like paint dragged across concrete.
Each track unfolds as a space to explore rather than a destination to reach.
Skateboarding To Concrete Creek is deliberately unpredictable. It invites the listener to drift, observe, and get lost, rewarding close attention while retaining a raw, visceral pulse. The live drumming grounds the chaos, anchoring the record in human touch even as the sound design pushes into uneasy, surreal territory.
All drums and noises performed live by Puncture Kit.
Produced by Eddie Haydn during the winter of 25/26.
This is music for late-night wandering, for motion without a map.
Skateboarding To Concrete Creek is a journey—with plenty of turns and side streets.
